How to Use:
Pick a folder and take the English folder/s inside (there are two folders for the renamed weapon localizations) and rewrite the deault English folders at C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Localization (use the regular BF2 English folder here) and C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\xpack\Localization (use the SF English folder here if using the renamed weapons localization).
Backups for both files are in the same directory, so don't worry about messing up.
Punkbuster and game stability will not be affected

Details
Battlefield HitFixer is a small application that automatically inputs the BF2/2142 latency settings into the console and optimizes hit registration. These changes will improve your hitboxes, cause more of your shots to hit your targets and cause less "dust" while shooting enemies.

- There is no install necessary. Just download and run.

Download HitFixer 2.00: (Right click and select "Save Link/Target As") (54 KB, AHK version)
Note: You must first download and install AutoHotkey to use this version
If you find that HitFixer doesn't help your hit reg, try entering different values. If your ping is 50, you set HitFixer to 50 and your hit reg still doesn't feel right, try entering 55, 60, or even 65.
If you are using Vista and cannot run HitFixer, make sure you are running it with administrator privileges. To do this, right click on the HitFixer file, go to properties, click the "Compatibility" tab, then make sure "Run this Program as an Administrator" is checked.

There are many games that do not support widescreen properly. These games usually let you set a widescreen resolution, but do not adjust the field of view (FOV) accordingly. This causes the top and bottom of the screen to be cropped. Because of this issue, this program will adjufst the field of view for the aspect ratio of your monitor.

To install:
Make a backup of the RendDX9.dll file in your main battlefield 2 install folder.
Extract the RendDX9.dll file into your Battlefield 2 directory. Overwrite the existing file if prompted.
In your (My) Documents folder, go to Battlefield 2/mods/bf2/cache folder and delete everything in it.
Run battlefield 2.

Left 4 Dead
This enables a server browser for L4D.
Place it :
C/program files/steam/steamapps/common/left4dead/left4dead/resource/UI/L4D360UI/
Make a backup from Mainmenu and then place the file from the download called mainmenu in L4D360UI map. (you never know, better to be safe)
